Kid Perfect has made it abundantly clear that he only is concerned with cashing paychecks and using professional wrestling as a vehicle to other medias. This is a business to KP, and the only thing that matters to him is his bottom line and seeing his name in lights. If he had it his way, he'd be in Hollywood, a skill that he feels that he's better suited at, but alas as one of the industry's finest talents, he's stuck in the professional wrestling ring for the time being.
DIVISION: EXCELLENCE / IMPULSE CHAMPIONSHIP (UP TO 5,000 WORDS PER RP)
ENTRANCE THEME:
ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION
The powerful intro chords of "One Minute" begin to play over the sound system as the arena lights begin to flicker and change to a light blue color. The fans that have gathered for the event spring to their feet to boo loudly. Soon, the sound system is filled with the raps of Kanye West.
"So much hate at the top, it's a lonely place
When you find out the opps ain't the only snakes
And your spouse only know what you don't erase
The world only know you by your worst mistakes"
The theme of Kid Perfect plays over the sound system and the entrance video plays for just a few moments before the arrogant world class athlete steps out onto the entrance way with the biggest grin on his face. With his hands tugging at the openings of his jacket, KP stood at the top of the entrance ramp and chuckled to himself, slightly scoffing at the disrespect that the crowd was showing him. Chomping on his gum, Kid Perfect walked down the ramp, making direct eye contact with fans at ringside who are relentlessly booing him. Perfect would never let the fact that wrestling fans of all kinds hated his guts bother him, and tonight was no different. Cool, calm and collected - Kid Perfect made his way down the ramp, and stopped at the bottom of the ramp, throwing his arms out to his side and throwing his head back in the process, reveling in the hatred from the audience of Pro Wrestling Excellence. Perfect would hop up on the apron and look out amongst the crowd, smirking and chuckling to himself. He would swiftly enter the ring, hop up on to the second rope in the corner and pose once again. He would hop off the ropes and take his corner, removing his jacket and readying for action here tonight.
ALIGNMENT
(SELECT ONE -- for information, refer to CHARACTER ALIGNMENT)
| NEUTRAL EVIL |
GIMMICK
Kid Perfect is a young man who is entirely self-absorbed with himself. I mean .. his name is actually Mitch Lawrence, but he insists on being constantly referred to as "Kid Perfect". That should tell you just about everything you need to know about him. Yet, despite being a pompous asshole, you simply cannot deny how gifted of an athlete that he is.
RING PSYCHOLOGY (IN-RING ATTITUDE)
He's a showman, first and foremost. It's practically second nature for Kid Perfect to showboat and talk trash to his opponent within the squared circle. In fact, some feel that it can be his biggest weakness, as he sometimes will leave himself vulnerable to momentum swings when boasting mid-match. Despite his boastful attitude, you will certainly see an athlete who takes professional wrestling seriously and has fantastic instincts.
WRESTLING STYLE
(SELECT A MAX OF TWO)
DIRTY: Your character has no qualms in cheating to win.
LUCHA: Your character relies on chain wrestling and spectacular sequences of offence to confuse their opponent and wow the crowd.
ATTITUDE TOWARDS CHEATING
| BLATANT|
STRENGTHS
1. Workrate - There's very few who can match up against Kid Perfect when it comes to raw athletic ability. Let's face it, professional wrestling in this era is driven by your ability to pull off insane feats of strength and ridiculous sequences. And, for a lot of peoples' money, there isn't anyone better at it than Kid Perfect. Expect to see something new and innovative in just about any KP match.
2. Cunning - And yet, despite being so skilled, Kid Perfect would much rather take the shorter route and cheat as much as possible. He's very smart about how he breaks the rules though, and will constantly push the limits to see what he can get away with during a match.
3. Strike Accuracy - When Kid Perfect throws a strike, it's with pinpoint precision. Don't expect to see many of his strikes get reversed, because he's very good about knowing when to pick his spot and he's usually extremely good about catching them right on the button.
WEAKNESSES
1. Ego - Kid Perfect has lost many matches when he's taken his eye off the ball and taken a moment to boast. Always engaging with the audience, Kid can sometimes go overboard and end up losing matches because of this. In fact, in another company, Kid Perfect lost a match via count-out because he was arguing with a fan at ringside.
2. Temper - If you're able to get under the skin of the young superstar, you'll find that his short fuse is easily exploitable. If you're good enough to bait Kid Perfect in, you can easily take advantage of his bad temper, which has gotten him into plenty of trouble before.
3. Power - Look, he's 6'1" / 201 pounds, what do you want from him?
ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT DO
His arrogance will not allow him to have a steady tag team partner or be a "second" in a stable.

BIOGRAPHY
Mitch Lawrence, started in the professional wrestling industry in 2017, less than 4 years ago now. Before that, the man who now calls himself "Kid Perfect" was a student in college (on his parent's dime, of course), but in late 2016, he had grown bored with college life. Stumbling upon a professional wrestling school at the perfect time, Mitch threw himself completely into professional wrestling and he hasn't looked back since. Taking to the ring like a fish takes to water, Mitch was a natural and progressed rapidly, soon outclassing everyone in his school. After graduating from his wrestling school, Mitch Lawrence became an afterthought and Kid Perfect was born. He began a tour of the United States independent circuits, and soon became one of indie wrestling's hottest prospects.
Over the next three years, Kid Perfect would complete a plethora of international tours, rack up high profile wins over some of the best independent wrestling's best wrestlers. Despite picking up victories and accolades nearly every weekend, he still found himself as one of the most hated wrestlers on the scene. Could it be because he's a giant asshole? Nah, that couldn't be it. Everyone else must be jealous.
In late 2021, it was reported that Kid Perfect had signed a long term contract with Pro Wrestlign Excellence. It's about fucking time, daddio.
